Mission

Elicit positive behavioral and attitude changes in the daily life of the family, by means of access to scientific knowledge and participatory reflection concerning human development and family and community relationships, and thus contributing to create a more just, democratic and peaceful society. Direct its resources and programs in such a way as to favor inhabitants from lower-income rural and urban households in the country and, promote the development and quality of life of its employees and their families.

Bienvenidos, Fundación Bienestar Humano - FBH

 

Welcome to the Human Well-being Foundation

 

The Human Well-being Foundation – FBH (Fundación Bienestar Humano), non-profit community organization, for the benefit of the community, created in  Medellín, Colombia, in 1934. Its purpose is to enable individuals, families and communities to access scientific expertise , and to engage in a participatory reflection on human development and family relationships, in order to attain a peaceful co-existence and, in this way, prevent problems.

FBH is part of the Antioquia Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations (FAONG); it includes a Children's, Family, and Rural Group Committee, a Board of Understanding with the municipality of Medellín, and the Rendering of Accounts Committee.
